Vision2.0

WHAT?
It’s time to build.  Six years ago a handful of people believed God led them to begin a new church in Conway.  God has been good to us.  There were over 300 people at our first public “launch.” We have now grown to over 500 in attendance. We’ve baptized over 150 people.  We are reaching people who had no belief in God and no interest in church. Children are bringing their parents to church.  Students are bringing their friends.  Now it is time to build.  We could call our adventure so far “Vision 1.0.”  We are now  ready to follow God into VISION2.0.  It means maximizing our ministry by moving to a campus of our own.  And I need your help to make that a reality.  If God doesn’t come through, we fail.  If you don’t come through, we fail.

WHY?
Why do we need to make this move?  Why take this risk?

To reach more people for Christ.
I believe we can reach more people using our own campus as a tool to do so. As a general rule, churches who build ..GROW.

To touch more lives.
Think of what we could offer the community in the name of Christ if we had a 7-day-a-week facility.

Because we risk “homelessness.”
We have a great relationship with Conway High.  But we have no guarantee that it will remain available.

To send the community a message.
And the message is “We’re here to stay.”

To re-direct some of our ministry energy.
Sunday is extremely labor-intensive while we’re portable.  What if we were able to redirect some of that ministry into the community?

HOW?
The economy is bad.  We aren’t a rich church.  So, how?  Short answer: By depending on God and challenging each other.  God specializes in doing impossible things through unqualified people.

Here’s the plan:

  • Pay off our land in ONE day.  That’s $75,000 on Oct. 31.
  • Increase our giving by $150,000 over the course of 12 months.
  • That gives us the 12-month giving record sufficient to borrow the money we need.

$375,000        (Normal giving)
$  75,000        (Pay off our land)
$150,000        (Increase in giving)
$600,000
X4 (What a bank would loan)
2.4 Million       (Build the Building)

$75,000 in ONE day?

1 family gives    $5000 = $5000
5 families give    $2000 = $10,000
10 families give    $1500 = $15,000
15 families give    $1000 = $15,000
20 families give    $750  = $15,000
20 families give    $500    = $10,000
15 families give    $250    = $3750
10 families give    $100    = $1000
5 families give    $50    = $250
(TOTAL)
101 families give             $75,000
