What to expect
If it’s your first time at The Rock, you are our honored guest. We know that going to a new place can be a little intimidating so we want to make it as easy as possible for you and answer any questions we can up front.
Where do I go when I get there?
When you pull onto the campus, our parking team will direct you from there. As you move towards the building, greeters will be at the doors and the Connect Corner to meet you and show you towards the auditorium or kids area. If you need anything during your visit, find anyone in a volunteer t-shirt, they would love to help!
What does a church service look like?
Our services are louder than usual, casual in dress and feel, and designed to last one hour and 15 minutes. Our band helps us connect with Jesus through modern worship and our pastors teach biblical messages in relational and practical ways.
If you are a first time guest, be sure to stop by the Connect Corner, located in the lobby, to receive a gift from us before you leave!
Does it matter if I _________________?
Does it matter if I wear shorts, am divorced, am a single parent, am broke, am an addict, am an atheist, am a skeptic, am from a traditional church background, etc. The answer is NO!
The Rock is a “come as you are” church. We believe that people matter to God therefore everyone is welcome.
What about my kids?
KidzRock is our children’s ministry for ages 6 weeks – 5th Grade. Their mission is to create a safe and fun place, where kids are building relationships and learning about Jesus on their level. The environments are divided by ages to best serve your child. While your babies are being rocked and soothed in The Cove, your preschoolers and elementary kids are having a blast playing, watching live acting and worship, and learning on their level through small groups in The Castle & The Camp. For nursing or new mothers, we have a family room that is quiet for you to enjoy.
To ensure a safe environment for your kids all of our volunteers and safety team members have been background checked and interviewed.
Katalyst is our student ministry for 6th – 12th grade. While we invite them to worship with adults on Sunday mornings, they have their own worship and small group experience on Wednesday nights.
