About This Series

The Prophets could also be called "The Preachers." They preached the Word of God to the kings and to the people. We tend to think that the role of the prophet was to foretell the future. But just as often (maybe more so) the prophet was a "forth-teller," interpreting the acts of God as they unfolded. Many prophets were rejected and mistreated. They all foretold things they themselves never saw come to pass. But they believed that faithfulness was more important than popularity or success. We can learn something from that, can't we?
