Opening Scripture
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all time, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. -Psalm 62:6-8
This verse tells us to pour out our hearts to God. Take a deep breath and prepare to share your thoughts and prayers with him.
Prayer Time
Pray for God to use you and give you specific opportunities to share Jesus to other people you meet or interact with.
Ask God’s blessing and direction for each of our campuses and leadership teams.
Pray for Aynor, Coastal, Conway, Online, J. Reuben Long, and South Strand locations.

Opening Scripture

God listens to your prayers. Take a moment to marvel at the fact that the Creator of the universe listens when you talk, and then invite him to be present as you talk to him today.
Prayer Time
Pray for God to create a movement and stir the hearts of young people and college students throughout our community and across the country.
Coastal Carolina University is one of our primary mission fields. Pray for our influence and opportunity to reach more and more students, faculty and others involved at CCU.
Ask God to give our Young Adult ministry direction and wisdom as they target college campuses and students.

God equips us for any and every situation. Talk to God about your own insecurities. then ask him to help you be brave in your own life and for us to be bold as a church to accomplish our mission.

Imagine opening your hands and holding them in front of you. What do you need to release to God as you being this time of prayer. Tell God about your concerns and ask him to show you what to focus on.

Pray for the Rock staff as they continue to build ministries and lead people. Pray for their personal walk with God, their families and health.

Ask God to give you a genuine desire to become more like Christ and think of some specific things you can do daily in that journey.

As you close, what do you need to trust God with. When you begin to feel unworthy or unqualified, stressed or overwhelmed, bring this prayer to God.

Tuesday, Sept 5
Opening Scripture
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:6-17. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. -2 Chronicles 16:9
God wants to lift you up and strengthen you to do great things. What areas of your life do you need to trust him and humble yourself. Give those things to him as you enter this time of prayer.
Prayer Time
Pray for our Re:Gen ministry as it continues to help people dealing with various challenges in their life, from trauma to addiction to abuse to mental health and and more, this is a powerful ministry helping people find healing and walk in the life to the full.
Pray for our local schools and teachers.
Ask God to bring safety and instruction, health and joy to our kids and teachers throughout this school year.

Imagine that God wants to fill your good things that bring him glory and you joy. Ask God to show you the good things he wants to do with and through your life today.

Pray for our High School ministry and their groups kick-off. Ask God to grow our students in wisdom and surround them with godly friends, leaders and community.
Unity: as the church grows and expands, it is essential we pray for unity
One of the enemy’s favorite tools is to create division and distort among God’s people. Pray that we would stay united and of one-mind as we continue to make Kingdom-impact in our community and beyond.

I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him’. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him. -Lamentations 3:24
What does it mean to put your hope in God?
Prayer Time
Pray for our middle school ministry and their groups kick-off. Ask God to grow our students in wisdom and surround them with godly friends, leaders and community.
Personal Evangelism: God has uniquely created each and every one of us to represent him in our special way. He calls us be his ambassadors to those who don’t know him and a light in the dark.
Ask God to use you to point other people to him, and to make you aware of the opportunities he has for you.

He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. And the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” -Luke 10:2. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. -Mark 10:45
Pray for God to give us the ability to see those around us, even and especially those who may be difficult, as someone to serve and show the love of Jesus.

Take some time to thank God for listening when we pray. Invite him not to listen and be involved in all the desires and requests we bring to him.

Pray for our women’s conference: WOVEN. Pray that it will be a great time of fellowship, encouragement and connecting with Jesus.
Every week across all of our Rock locations we see dozens of first time guests come on campus and join us for a worship service
Pray that God would continue to lead more and more people to the Rock church and that we would be good stewards in connecting them to Jesus and others.

Think about that - God has CHOSEN you and wants to use you to make a difference in other people’s live that will matter into eternity. Pray that you would be aware of God’s plan and have the courage to act and trust him.

This week we kick-off our fall series called Finding the Way, and will take a look sections of the book of Acts and the early church. Pray for God to continue to help us grow and thrive as the church he called and created us to be.

At the heart of the Rock church is setting a priority and being intentional about pouring into and empowering young people. Pray for our staff and leaders who have accepted the challenge and opportunity to pour into those lives.
